I want to leave a smooth edged memory stone on this memorial for Jeanne Lee. She was a person of great creativity, artistry and merit, as well as a lot of fun. I knew her during my only year at Memorial in 1967, from times spent together in Mr. Killan's art room...and from several years at UWEC, studying art, the politics of the time and life.

In school, Jean was the sister I never had. her talent in art and everything she touched
made many lives better. Her family was my 'other' family and watching as Jean grew to write
and paint her way in the world was always blessed with her extra large and beautiful smile.

Jeanne was someone I admired for her zest, creativity and intelligence. I wish I had stayed in touch with her and mourn her passing.
