Liz Hibbard Isaacson

Graduated from UW, Madison, School of Nursing in 1971. Moved to Milwaukee, then on to the Twin Cities. I met my husband, Gerry, on a blind date and we married May 1, 1976. Lived four + years in Duluth.. then returned to the Twin Cities area. Worked as a Labor and Delivery and Mother-Baby staff nurse for twenty-seven years.
In 2009, I earned a Master of Science degree, with a major in Nursing Leadership and Health Systems Administration from the University of Minnesota Graduate School.
Retired July 2020 after 10 1/2 years as a Patient Placement Manager at The University of Minnesota Medical Center. Remained Casual status through Covid. Retired from M Health Fairview casual position November 2022.
Still trying to figure out what to be when I grow up.
In 2024: still adapting to retirement, decluttered, sold home, downsized to an Active 55+ community.

Made life-long friends. Friendships still strong with Sally Page Olson, Mary Carr Luckner and Cynthia Carter LeBlanc

Concert choir. Madrigals performances allowed me to skip some classes.
School musicals and choir kept me focused and happy
Friday night football games, pizza at Paisons, and cheering for our basketball team especially in Madison

Least favorite memories: Gym class- 1st period swimming class
