Anna was born on July 30, 1949 in Eau Claire to Alf Odin and Marie Ann (Sutter) Utegaard.

 

She attended Memorial High School in Eau Claire, Class of 1967. She also attended UW Eau Claire.  Anna married Matthew Meinholz on October 25, 1985 in Eau Claire.  She and her husband owned and operated the Pine Hill Kennel in Altoona.  She was an animal lover, especially dogs, and enjoyed showing dachshunds.  She worked at Randalls Grocery Store in Eau Claire for 12 years.  Anna loved gardening, doing ceramics and crocheting.  She also loved collecting dog statues, bird prints, and Christmas items.  Her favorite TV show was the Home & Garden Show.

 

Anna is survived by her husband, Matthew of Eau Claire; one son, Odin Meinholz of Eau Claire; one brother, Ralph (Sharon) Utegaard of Eau Claire; special friends: Ed Bohn of Altoona, Loretta Lunderville of Eau Claire, Katy Mees of Wilton, ND, and Karen Bell of Eau Claire; her special lovebird, “Louie Bird”; and other relatives and friends.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents.

 

A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, December 14th at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel in Altoona from 10:00am – Noon.  Burial will be held privately.
