So sorry to learn of Bobs passing.  Many many fond memories during our friendship through Central Junior High and then of course MHS and then our Automotive Machine Works softball team. ( Good times! ) Always a calm / fun guy . Liked by everybody. Another classmate sadly missed.

I have known Robert ever since Central Junior High along with Ron Keiholz, Jim Skutley, Tim Tyler, and Jim Soller. We were a tight group. We continued our friendships even after MHS. Robert, Jim Soller, and I attended and graduated from UWEC. I was Bob's best man for his first marriage. Our friendship continued after his move to Madison to work for AT&T. He continued to work for them until his retirement at age 70. Robert was an elite racquetball player at the YMCA when the sport was becoming popular. He transitoned to running after shoulder problems from racquetball. He was very passiionate about long distance running and continued running in to his late 60's. He had one son that works in law enforcement on the Federal level. Jim Soller and myself often traveled to Madison to party with Robert. We have many good memories of our adventures with Bob. I will dearly miss him. Peace brother.
