Judith “Judy” Kaye Larson (Lee), age 76, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2024. Judy was born September 27, 1948 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to Harold and Sylvia Lee; she was the second of four children. Judy attended Randall Elementary School, Central Junior High School and graduated from Memorial High School in 1967 (all in Eau Claire, WI). Judy lived on Lake Wissota for her first couple years as a young parent, then she raised her daughters in Elk Lake and once they were adults, she moved to Ocala, FL for several years and moved back to Eau Claire to live the remainder of her life closer to family and friends.

Judy worked at National Presto Industries manufacturing artillery shells, Northwest Fabrics as a customer service representative, was a food demonstrator at multiple local grocery stores, Millstone Coffee Company as a Regional Representative, Lutheran Social Services serving clients at a group home, and at McDonalds as a hostess. The common theme among all her work experiences was camaraderie with her fellow coworkers, clients and customers. Judy never gave up an opportunity for a good gabbing session even if it was in line at the grocery store checkout, at a service station while waiting for her vehicle to be repaired, or while walking in her neighborhood.

Left behind to cherish the memories and good times spent with Judy are her daughters: Tracy Phillips (Chris) and Stacey Rasmussen (Michael). Grandchildren: Blake Sessions, Dylin Steinke (Lexi), Alexis Cope, Julia Cope, Chloe Cope, Devin Phillips, Jackson Rasmussen, Carson Rasmussen, and Kaden Rasmussen. Great grandchildren: Bradley, Ethan, Ashton, Emmitt, Tristan, Oakley, and Wesley. Sister: Yvonne Hedrington (Tim) and Brother: Randy Lee Also: nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family members and many friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, sister (Sandra Aldworth) and husband (Larry Larson).

Judy will be deeply missed. We can continue to honor her legacy by sharing a smile with those we pass by and taking a moment to talk with people we meet.

A celebration of Judy's life is scheduled for: Saturday, November 16th from noon to 4:00 pm with a service honoring her at 2:00 pm.

During the service there will be time for those who are interested to share a memory. A luncheon and refreshments will be available. Location: Lafayette Town Hall (5765 197th St, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729).

I do remember Judy from school. She always seemed liked a nice person.  So very sorry to hear of another classmates passing. Thoughts and prayers to her family and friends.
