Jacqueline M. Wornson, 56, of Apple Valley, died Nov. 21, 2005, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

She was born Oct. 5, 1949. She will be greatly missed. Jackie shared her kind and gentle spirit throughout the years and taught the importance of her faith, love and grace during her most difficult journey. Family members said her strength is to be admired, and her courage amazing.

Jackie is survived by husband, Paul; daughters, Kristin Marie and Wendy Kay; and sister, Kathleen Fuller.

Jackie and I grew up together in Putnam Heights and became very good friends.  Although we had lost touch with each other over the years, as many friends do, I will never forget her sweet, cheerful nature.  Jackie never said an unkind word about anyone, a rare attribute indeed.  She will be missed.

Jackie was a longtime (from Putnam Hts. Elementary School) dear friend who died of breast cancer Nov. 21, 2005. Jackie was a truly good, sweet person of great faith and courage.

She was a devoted wife to Paul and a wonderful mother to their two daughters, Kristin and Wendy. They in turn did everything possible to support Jackie during her illness. Their family love was very evident.

I last saw Jackie in March, 2005. She was continuing to receive very difficult weekly chemo, and dealing with so much. She still had a smile on her face and a can do attitude, tempered with an acceptance of God's plan for her.

I think of her often and have such good memories, especially of our youthful years before I moved away from Eau Claire. We shared a lot of great times, Jackie!
