He was born in Eau Claire on April 22, 1949, the son of Carsten and Virginia (Lowry) Dahl.  Larry served in the Army Reserve for 9 years. He was employed as a cook for many years.  In his younger days, he loved to hunt and fish.  Larry was very handy, with a flair for carpentry and electrical.

 

Survivors include, his daughter, Tiffany Dahl; his mother, Virginia Kohnen and his granddaughter, Samantha, all of Eau Claire; his sister, Sandra (Bob) Hall of Eau Claire; his step mother, Elsie Dahl of Colfax; a half brother Dan (Brenda) Dahl of Eau Claire and a step brother Mark (Julie) Harmon of Colfax; a half sister, Debi (Wes) Friedli, of Colfax and a step sister, Becky Harmon of Menomonie.
