Sad to hear of John's family's loss.  Sounds like John lived a good and honorable life.  I especially appreciate the last line of his obiturary. How wonderful to have the assurance that he is united with Jesus and will be reunited with his loved ones.  God's peace and comfort to his survivors.

Ron HalpernI did not know John, and I am the poorer for that. We were all special, the greatest and the least of us. John's passing that emphasizes how dear life is and how our days at Memorial we're both collectively special and deeply personal. When one of us passes, we all lose a piece of our history and, yes, a piece of the soul of who we were and are. My deepest condolences. May his family find joy in the wholeness and richness of the life that led, and held dear, together.

So sorry to hear about John.  We have known each other since grade school down in Shawtown.  I wish we

would stayed closer thru High School but it did not work out that way.  I too am very glad to read the last words

that he was a believer in Christ.  Enjoy John...

I too remember John as Steve and Dave and I all went through My. Washington and Jr. High and Memorial together. My memories of him are of a kind, quiet guy with a shy smile that crept on to his face often. My thoughts and prayers for comfort go to his Linda and his family.
