Todd Edward Andersen, 58, of Eau Claire passed away April 10, 2008, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn.

Todd was born Sept. 14, 1949, to Carl "Ed" and Deloris "Dorye" (Arndt) Andersen in Eau Claire, Wis. He graduated from Memorial High in 1967, enlisted in the United States Marines and served in the Vietnam conflict until being honorably discharged in 1969. He continued his service to his country with serving in the National Guard and receiving his 20-year veteran pin in 2008.

Todd attended CVTC college receiving degrees in Electronic Technology and Refrigeration/Air Conditioning. He worked for multiple employers in the Chippewa Valley.

Todd is survived by his mother, Dorye Andersen of Eau Claire; stepmother, Violet Andersen of Eau Claire; daughter, Monica (Bryan) Rassbach of Strum; two sons, Tony and Jacob Andersen; sisters, Kristine (Alan) Polenz of Eau Claire, Kathy (Paul) Miezwa of Zimmerman, Minn., Vicky Hill of Santa Barbara, Calif.; brothers, Terry (Patti) Andersen of Eau Claire, Dale Andersen of Chippewa Falls, David Andersen of Platteville, Wis. Todd is further survived by grandson, Dagen; along with several nieces and nephews, Kenny, Kyle, Amy, Justin, Joe, Greg, Jeremy, Dana, Daniel, Jimmy, Mike, Shawn, Mary and Michelle; and very special friend Kitty Horn.

Todd was preceded in death by his father, Carl; brothers, Mike and Dan McClure.

Todd enjoyed spending time with family and his special friends from the Hallie Sportsman Club, he will be greatly missed by all who know him.

Funeral services from Todd will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home, 3209 Rudolph Road, Eau Claire, with Monsignor E. Klimek officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 4 to 8 p.m. and again from 10 a.m. Tuesday morning until the time of service.
